✨ How to Stay Safe in Public

by natadecoco

Going out alone or even with friends should feel normal and safe, but as women we know that being alert is important. Staying safe in public isn’t about living in fear, it’s about being aware and prepared so we can enjoy our lives with confidence. Here are some simple steps every woman can keep in mind whenever we’re out and about.

๐Ÿฆ” Take a Chance, or You’ll Always Wonder

by natadecoco

People often say that as women, we don’t chase, we wait. We wait for the right person to come, we believe that if he truly wanted us, he would make the first move. I’ve heard this countless times, and honestly, it sounds safe and romantic. But from my own experience, after carrying a crush since high school, I’ve learned that sometimes holding back leaves you with something heavier than rejection: regret. It’s better to let those feelings out than to keep asking yourself “what if?” for years with no answer in return.

As a woman stepping into my twenties, I feel we should never let society’s expectations decide how we express our hearts. Life is too short to be lived quietly in fear. Of course, I’m not saying to rush or force anything, but if someone truly matters to you, telling them, even in a simple way can free you from the weight of wondering. Rejection might sting for a moment, but regret stays much longer. In this age of independence and self‑expression, we should allow ourselves the courage to act on our feelings, because our twenties are not just about careers and responsibilities; they’re also about experiences, risks, and stories we’ll carry forever. So if you’re reading this and thinking of someone right now, maybe this is your sign, take the chance, because your heart deserves clarity more than endless questions.

๐Ÿฅช Energy on a Plate: Quick Meals for Women Students

                 by natadecoco

University life can drain you, late‑night study sessions, tight deadlines, and days when you barely have time to breathe. As women, our bodies and moods are deeply connected to what we eat, and choosing the right food can make a huge difference. Even without a full kitchen, it’s possible to prepare quick, healthy meals that not only keep you full but also boost your energy and lift your mood. Here are some easy ideas that have helped me stay focused, happy, and fueled through busy days.

When you’re living in a dorm or a place without a full kitchen, you can still prepare quick meals that help boost your energy and mood. A great start is something as simple as fruit wraps, soft tortillas filled with fresh fruits and a light spread, easy to make and easy to grab on the go. Another option is a yogurt bowl, where you just combine your favorite yogurt with simple add‑ons like fruits or cereal to keep you feeling fresh and satisfied.

For a warm and filling choice, an oatmeal bowl is perfect, you only need hot water or milk to create a comforting meal that keeps you energized for hours.

๐Ÿ–ผ️ Stepping Into the Faculty I’ve Always Dreamed Of

by natadecoco

Standing here today, I can’t help but feel a wave of emotions rushing through me. This is not just any place it’s the faculty I once only dreamed of, the first choice I wrote down with trembling hands, the first love that lived quietly in my heart for years. I never thought I would actually be here, walking through its hallways, breathing in the atmosphere I once imagined from afar.

Growing up as a young woman, I was often reminded to choose wisely, to pick a course of study that would secure a stable future, a “proper job,” something safe and certain. And for a while, those voices almost convinced me. I almost walked away from this dream, thinking maybe practicality mattered more than passion. But deep down, I carried a quiet promise to myself, a promise that I would not let go of the things that truly make my heart alive. Today, as I stand here in the faculty I once only imagined, I feel proud that I chose myself. Every hallway feels like a reward for the risks I took, every step reminds me that it’s okay for women to build their future on something they genuinely love, not just something that fits expectations. This place isn’t just about a degree or a career; it’s proof that dreams from childhood can still grow into something real, something that will carry me far into the future.

Taylor Swift Songs That Sound

 Like My Diary Screaming

By 1ovingqys

Sometimes, Taylor Swift doesn’t just write songs. She snatches your soul, rips your chest open, and says, “There. That’s what you’ve been feeling.” So here’s a list of songs that feel too personal for me. No, I won’t be okay after this. Yes, I’m playing them again tonight.

1. All Too Well (10 Minute Version)

“You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath.”

This song? A literary thesis. A short film. A punch in the gut with a vintage scarf. It’s about remembering everything. The red scarf, the autumn leaves, the dinner table silence. It’s heartbreak with a memory that won’t leave even after they did. Ten minutes of emotional destruction, and I ask for more? Yes.

2. Enchanted

“Please don’t be in love with someone else.”

The most delulu anthem ever written. One conversation, one magical moment, and suddenly I’m planning our wedding playlist in my head. This song captures that soft, dizzying high of meeting someone and being hopelessly, stupidly enchanted then walking home like a Disney character who just got emotionally wrecked in a ball gown.

3. Cruel Summer

“I love you, ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard?”

This is the manic pixie heartbreak anthem. It’s screaming into your pillow in July because everything feels too much and not enough at the same time. It’s about that one summer fling that felt like fireworks but ended like burnt toast. If you ever wanted to cry in club lighting, this is the song.

4. My Tears Ricochet

“I didn't have it in myself to go with grace.”

This one feels like grieving someone who’s still alive. It's so haunting and cinematic like mourning a love that betrayed you and then stood over your grave like they were the victim. The drama?? The poetry?? Taylor wrote this for the girls who loved too much and got left behind in the ashes.

5. Guilty as Sin?

“What if I told you I'm back?”

This one is quiet. Dangerous. It’s about emotional cheating—the kind where you haven’t done anything… but you want to. You imagine it, you replay it in your head, and suddenly the line between right and wrong is paper thin. It’s that moment of wondering, what if I let myself want this? The ache in this song? Sickening. Perfect.

Life Lessons I Learned from K-Dramas

By 1ovingqys

1. Our Written Seoul

This drama taught me the magic of taking a break and revisiting your roots. Sometimes, in the rush of trying to “make it,” we forget who we used to be. The characters reminded me that it’s okay to pause, breathe, and go back to where it all started and not to stay there, but to remember why we started in the first place.

2. Our Beloved Summer

This one hits soft and deep. It showed me how love isn’t always about big gestures but sometimes it’s just staying. Even when people grow apart, even when they fight, true love gently finds its way back. It also reminded me that it’s okay to grow at your own pace, and healing takes time.

3. Queen of Tears

This drama honestly had me crying and reflecting hard. It taught me that love in marriage isn’t just romance but it’s also sacrifice, forgiveness, and choosing each other even when life gets really messy. Behind every perfect couple photo, there are battles we don’t see. But what matters is the effort to fight together, not against each other.

4. When Life Gives You Tangerines

I love how this one subtly teaches us about unexpected changes. Just like tangerines that look sour but end up sweet, life can surprise us in the best ways. Even when things don’t go as planned, sometimes it’s life pushing us toward something better. We just have to be brave enough to taste the “tangerines.”

5. Welcome to Samdal-ri

This drama felt like a hug. It reminded me of the warmth of hometowns, childhood friends, and the comfort of being known. Sometimes, the dreams we chase in big cities aren’t as fulfilling as the peace we find in the places we once left behind. There’s strength in coming home — to people, to places, and to ourselves.

Surviving Qaqa & Insyirah — Barely ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

By 1ovingqys

Having siblings is like living in a constant sitcom such as unpredictable, dramatic, sometimes emotional, and honestly, the best kind of chaos. For me, it’s the Qaqa and Insyirah show every single day.

Let’s start with Qaqa — my little brother who’s 12 this year. He’s the baby of the family, but don’t let that fool you. He acts like he’s 22 sometimes, especially when he starts talking about things he watches on YouTube like he’s giving a TED Talk ๐Ÿ˜ญ. But truly, he’s got the kindest heart. He might annoy me with his random noises or endless questions, but sometimes he’ll quietly do something thoughtful, like save the last snack for me or send me funny reels to cheer me up. His innocence, energy, and weirdly mature logic always make me laugh.

Then there’s Insyirah. My younger sister who’s currently 17 — and probably the most loya buruk person I know. I love her, but she can go from singing Taylor Swift out loud at 8 a.m. to suddenly giving unsolicited advice like she’s a 40-year-old auntie. She's sassy, loud, dramatic, and somehow always right (in her own head). Sometimes I wonder how we both came from the same parents. But the truth is, even though we bicker a lot and she always has something cheeky to say, I know she’s got my back. She just has her own chaotic way of showing it.

We’re all in different stages of life — Qaqa still in school, Insyirah going through her final teenage years, and me… somewhere between deadlines and breakdowns ๐Ÿ˜‚. But at the end of the day, our bond is real. It’s made of annoying jokes, late-night talks, stealing each other’s things without asking, and the kind of laughter that makes your stomach hurt.

๐Ÿ–‡️Clean hands, anytime, anywhere. Perfect for when soap and water aren’t available.

5. Pads or Panty Liners

๐Ÿ–‡️Periods can surprise you. Always be ready—not just for you, but maybe even for a friend.

๐Ÿ–‡️A must for messy hair days, workouts, or sudden winds.

๐Ÿ“ƒ What to Do When You Feel Down – A Short Guide for Girls๐Ÿซง

๐ŸซงSometimes life gets overwhelming. School, family, relationships, and the pressure to be “okay” all the time can weigh heavily on your mind. If you’re starting to feel depressed or emotionally drained, you’re not alone—and you can take steps to feel better. Here’s a short, honest guide to help you breathe, reset, and care for yourself.๐Ÿซง

1. Acknowledge How You Feel

First things first: it’s okay to not be okay. Don’t ignore your emotions or pretend they don’t exist. Say it out loud or write it down: “I’m feeling low right now, and that’s valid.” Naming what you’re going through is the first step to healing.

2. Talk to Someone You Trust

You don’t have to carry everything by yourself. A friend, sibling, teacher, or even a school counselor can be a safe space. Sometimes just talking about what’s bothering you makes a huge difference.

3. Take a Digital Detox

Social media can be a trigger. It’s easy to fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others. Put your phone down for a while. Instead, listen to music, go for a walk, or just sit quietly with your thoughts.

4. Do Something That Grounds You

Try activities that calm your mind:

•Take deep breaths (inhale 4 sec, hold 4 sec, exhale 4 sec)

•Write in a journal

•Go outside and feel the sun or wind on your face

•Create something draw, bake, paint, or dance in your room

5. Ask for Professional Help If It Feels Too Heavy

If sadness sticks around for weeks or you feel hopeless, it might be time to talk to a mental health professional. Therapy isn’t just for people in crisis it’s for anyone who wants support.

Final thoughts ๐Ÿ’ญ

You are not weak for needing a break. You are not broken for feeling sad. Taking care of your mental health is an act of courage and self-love. You deserve peace—and it starts with one small step.

๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒปYou matter. Don’t forget that.✨๐ŸŒˆ☁️

Throwback to My Semester 1 Era❤️‍๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’Œ

By 1ovingqys

Sometimes I miss my Semester 1 days. Life felt so much lighter back then like fewer assignments, a more relaxed schedule, and so much time to just enjoy. I remember how I used to hang out at the library like it was my second home. I’d actually choose to go there to do small tasks or pretend to study while scrolling on my phone or people-watching. Compare that to now in Semester 6, where most of my assignments are done from my room or my friends' room, wherever there's Wi-Fi and no need to walk too far. Time has changed the way I study, and honestly, my energy level too. Actually I'm lazy hihihi.

And don’t even get me started on how I looked back then ๐Ÿ˜ญ I was so selekeh. Messy face, no skincare routine, outfits that looked like I got dressed with my eyes closed. Just whatever I could grab and throw on. I looked like a literal budak baru lepas sekolah. But there’s something sweet about that version of me like the cluelessness, the innocence, the way I thought I had life figured out. Semester 1 was chaotic in its own way, but it was also full of new beginnings and little moments I’ll always look back on fondly. I may cringe at my outfits, but that girl was living in her own little world and honestly, she was kinda iconic for it.

๐Ÿ›ผ ๐Ÿ’— Why Do Girls Love Pink So Much?๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŒท

By Nayli

Let’s be real. Pink just hits different. It is soft, pretty, and makes everything feel a little sweeter. But why do so many girls love it?

First, pink feels happy and calm. Whether it is baby pink, hot pink, or dusty rose, the colour brings out good vibes. It reminds us of cotton candy, flowers, and all things cute.

Also, pink makes people feel feminine and confident. Wearing pink can boost your mood. It stands out, but in a gentle and beautiful way.

Lastly, pink has become a part of girl power. It is no longer just a girly colour. Now it is bold, strong, and stylish. You can wear it soft or loud. It is totally your choice.

“Pink is not just a color. It is an attitude.” – Miley Cyrus

At the end of the day, girls love pink because it makes them feel good. And that is what style is all about

Rainy Day Routine as a Girl ๐ŸŒง️๐Ÿ’™

By Strawberryecah

There’s just something about rainy days that makes me want to stay in, get cozy, and enjoy the little things in life. It’s not about doing much just keeping my heart warm while the sky pours outside. Here’s what a perfect rainy day looks like for me:

- Listen to Music ๐ŸŽง

The first thing I always do when the rain starts falling is plug in my earphones and play some music that fits the mood. Usually, I’ll go for slow songs, soft acoustic tunes, or even lo-fi beats that feel like a warm hug. It helps me feel calm, relaxed, and a little dreamy. It’s like the world slows down for a bit and everything feels more peaceful with the sound of raindrops in the background.

- Make Ramen ๐Ÿœ

Rainy days and warm food are the perfect match and for me, ramen is the ultimate comfort food. I love making a hot bowl of ramen, adding in some boiled eggs or a slice of cheese if I want to treat myself. The smell, the steam, the first slurp  everything about it is so cozy. It warms up not just my body, but also my mood. Ramen on a rainy day feels like magic in a bowl.

- Watch a Movie ๐ŸŽฌ

While the rain falls outside, I love turning off the lights, snuggling up with my blanket, and watching a feel-good movie. Sometimes I go for something romantic, other times I’ll pick a funny or nostalgic film. The sound of the rain mixed with a good storyline always hits different. It’s my little escape a way to let go and just enjoy being present in the moment.

 My Dream Pinterest Girl Life

(That I’m Slowly Manifesting)” ๐ŸŒท

By 1ovingqys

Lately, I’ve been really obsessed with the idea of living the “Pinterest girl” lifestyle. It’s that dreamy, soft life aesthetic where everything looks calm, pretty, and effortlessly romantic. You know like waking up slowly with sunlight pouring into the room, making a warm cup of matcha, journaling with a scented candle lit nearby, wearing oversized pastel knits, and just taking life at your own pace. It sounds so peaceful. Living in Shah Alam might not be some Pinterest-perfect European city, but who says I can’t create little dreamy moments in my own space? I think the whole point of this lifestyle isn’t just about the aesthetic, but about how it makes you feel.

I imagine myself waking up to a slow morning like no alarm, just the sound of birds or soft music. I’d fix my bed nicely, open the curtains, and let the morning light in. Then maybe I’d play some Lofi BTS tracks in the background while I write in my journal or plan my day. On good days, I’d dress up in a flowy skirt or a soft cardigan and head to a nearby cafรฉ, bring a book I probably won’t finish, and just sit there, people watching or pretending to look productive. Honestly, the smallest things like doing skincare or walking alone in a quiet park feel so much more special when you start romanticizing your life.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it and you don’t have to travel to Paris or Seoul to live beautifully. Maybe it’s enough to feel at peace where you are, to do things for yourself, to enjoy your own company, and to create a little bit of magic in your everyday routine. I’m not fully there yet, but slowly… I’m manifesting it. My own version of the Pinterest girl dream life such as soft, quiet, content, and fully mine.

⭐️  Skirt with Jeans Trend? Yes, It’s a Thing Now⭐️

By Nayli

Lately, I have been seeing more and more girls wearing skirts on top of jeans. At first, I was like… what is going on? But the more I see it, the more I kind of love it.

It gives that confident, cool girl vibe. It is comfy but still stylish. And honestly, it is perfect for those days when you want to wear a skirt but still want to feel covered.

๐Ÿช„How to Style It๐Ÿ’ซ

You can wear a mini or flowy skirt with straight or baggy jeans. Pair it with a simple top and some sneakers or boots. That is it. No need to overthink it.

The key is to balance the look. If your skirt is loud or colourful, go for a plain top. If your jeans are already bold, wear a simple skirt.

Final Thought

Fashion is supposed to be fun. So if you like it, wear it. Even if it is a little different. You might feel weird at first, but once you walk with confidence, people will notice your style
