✨ How to Stay Safe in Public

by natadecoco

Going out alone or even with friends should feel normal and safe, but as women we know that being alert is important. Staying safe in public isn’t about living in fear, it’s about being aware and prepared so we can enjoy our lives with confidence. Here are some simple steps every woman can keep in mind whenever we’re out and about.

๐Ÿฆ” Take a Chance, or You’ll Always Wonder

by natadecoco

People often say that as women, we don’t chase, we wait. We wait for the right person to come, we believe that if he truly wanted us, he would make the first move. I’ve heard this countless times, and honestly, it sounds safe and romantic. But from my own experience, after carrying a crush since high school, I’ve learned that sometimes holding back leaves you with something heavier than rejection: regret. It’s better to let those feelings out than to keep asking yourself “what if?” for years with no answer in return.

As a woman stepping into my twenties, I feel we should never let society’s expectations decide how we express our hearts. Life is too short to be lived quietly in fear. Of course, I’m not saying to rush or force anything, but if someone truly matters to you, telling them, even in a simple way can free you from the weight of wondering. Rejection might sting for a moment, but regret stays much longer. In this age of independence and self‑expression, we should allow ourselves the courage to act on our feelings, because our twenties are not just about careers and responsibilities; they’re also about experiences, risks, and stories we’ll carry forever. So if you’re reading this and thinking of someone right now, maybe this is your sign, take the chance, because your heart deserves clarity more than endless questions.

๐Ÿฅช Energy on a Plate: Quick Meals for Women Students

                 by natadecoco

University life can drain you, late‑night study sessions, tight deadlines, and days when you barely have time to breathe. As women, our bodies and moods are deeply connected to what we eat, and choosing the right food can make a huge difference. Even without a full kitchen, it’s possible to prepare quick, healthy meals that not only keep you full but also boost your energy and lift your mood. Here are some easy ideas that have helped me stay focused, happy, and fueled through busy days.

When you’re living in a dorm or a place without a full kitchen, you can still prepare quick meals that help boost your energy and mood. A great start is something as simple as fruit wraps, soft tortillas filled with fresh fruits and a light spread, easy to make and easy to grab on the go. Another option is a yogurt bowl, where you just combine your favorite yogurt with simple add‑ons like fruits or cereal to keep you feeling fresh and satisfied.

For a warm and filling choice, an oatmeal bowl is perfect, you only need hot water or milk to create a comforting meal that keeps you energized for hours.

๐Ÿ–ผ️ Stepping Into the Faculty I’ve Always Dreamed Of

by natadecoco

Standing here today, I can’t help but feel a wave of emotions rushing through me. This is not just any place it’s the faculty I once only dreamed of, the first choice I wrote down with trembling hands, the first love that lived quietly in my heart for years. I never thought I would actually be here, walking through its hallways, breathing in the atmosphere I once imagined from afar.

Growing up as a young woman, I was often reminded to choose wisely, to pick a course of study that would secure a stable future, a “proper job,” something safe and certain. And for a while, those voices almost convinced me. I almost walked away from this dream, thinking maybe practicality mattered more than passion. But deep down, I carried a quiet promise to myself, a promise that I would not let go of the things that truly make my heart alive. Today, as I stand here in the faculty I once only imagined, I feel proud that I chose myself. Every hallway feels like a reward for the risks I took, every step reminds me that it’s okay for women to build their future on something they genuinely love, not just something that fits expectations. This place isn’t just about a degree or a career; it’s proof that dreams from childhood can still grow into something real, something that will carry me far into the future.

Taylor Swift Songs That Sound

 Like My Diary Screaming

By 1ovingqys

Sometimes, Taylor Swift doesn’t just write songs. She snatches your soul, rips your chest open, and says, “There. That’s what you’ve been feeling.” So here’s a list of songs that feel too personal for me. No, I won’t be okay after this. Yes, I’m playing them again tonight.

1. All Too Well (10 Minute Version)

“You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath.”

This song? A literary thesis. A short film. A punch in the gut with a vintage scarf. It’s about remembering everything. The red scarf, the autumn leaves, the dinner table silence. It’s heartbreak with a memory that won’t leave even after they did. Ten minutes of emotional destruction, and I ask for more? Yes.

2. Enchanted

“Please don’t be in love with someone else.”

The most delulu anthem ever written. One conversation, one magical moment, and suddenly I’m planning our wedding playlist in my head. This song captures that soft, dizzying high of meeting someone and being hopelessly, stupidly enchanted then walking home like a Disney character who just got emotionally wrecked in a ball gown.

3. Cruel Summer

“I love you, ain’t that the worst thing you ever heard?”

This is the manic pixie heartbreak anthem. It’s screaming into your pillow in July because everything feels too much and not enough at the same time. It’s about that one summer fling that felt like fireworks but ended like burnt toast. If you ever wanted to cry in club lighting, this is the song.

4. My Tears Ricochet

“I didn't have it in myself to go with grace.”

This one feels like grieving someone who’s still alive. It's so haunting and cinematic like mourning a love that betrayed you and then stood over your grave like they were the victim. The drama?? The poetry?? Taylor wrote this for the girls who loved too much and got left behind in the ashes.

5. Guilty as Sin?

“What if I told you I'm back?”

This one is quiet. Dangerous. It’s about emotional cheating—the kind where you haven’t done anything… but you want to. You imagine it, you replay it in your head, and suddenly the line between right and wrong is paper thin. It’s that moment of wondering, what if I let myself want this? The ache in this song? Sickening. Perfect.

Life Lessons I Learned from K-Dramas

By 1ovingqys

1. Our Written Seoul

This drama taught me the magic of taking a break and revisiting your roots. Sometimes, in the rush of trying to “make it,” we forget who we used to be. The characters reminded me that it’s okay to pause, breathe, and go back to where it all started and not to stay there, but to remember why we started in the first place.

2. Our Beloved Summer

This one hits soft and deep. It showed me how love isn’t always about big gestures but sometimes it’s just staying. Even when people grow apart, even when they fight, true love gently finds its way back. It also reminded me that it’s okay to grow at your own pace, and healing takes time.

3. Queen of Tears

This drama honestly had me crying and reflecting hard. It taught me that love in marriage isn’t just romance but it’s also sacrifice, forgiveness, and choosing each other even when life gets really messy. Behind every perfect couple photo, there are battles we don’t see. But what matters is the effort to fight together, not against each other.

4. When Life Gives You Tangerines

I love how this one subtly teaches us about unexpected changes. Just like tangerines that look sour but end up sweet, life can surprise us in the best ways. Even when things don’t go as planned, sometimes it’s life pushing us toward something better. We just have to be brave enough to taste the “tangerines.”

5. Welcome to Samdal-ri

This drama felt like a hug. It reminded me of the warmth of hometowns, childhood friends, and the comfort of being known. Sometimes, the dreams we chase in big cities aren’t as fulfilling as the peace we find in the places we once left behind. There’s strength in coming home — to people, to places, and to ourselves.

Surviving Qaqa & Insyirah — Barely ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

By 1ovingqys

Having siblings is like living in a constant sitcom such as unpredictable, dramatic, sometimes emotional, and honestly, the best kind of chaos. For me, it’s the Qaqa and Insyirah show every single day.

Let’s start with Qaqa — my little brother who’s 12 this year. He’s the baby of the family, but don’t let that fool you. He acts like he’s 22 sometimes, especially when he starts talking about things he watches on YouTube like he’s giving a TED Talk ๐Ÿ˜ญ. But truly, he’s got the kindest heart. He might annoy me with his random noises or endless questions, but sometimes he’ll quietly do something thoughtful, like save the last snack for me or send me funny reels to cheer me up. His innocence, energy, and weirdly mature logic always make me laugh.

Then there’s Insyirah. My younger sister who’s currently 17 — and probably the most loya buruk person I know. I love her, but she can go from singing Taylor Swift out loud at 8 a.m. to suddenly giving unsolicited advice like she’s a 40-year-old auntie. She's sassy, loud, dramatic, and somehow always right (in her own head). Sometimes I wonder how we both came from the same parents. But the truth is, even though we bicker a lot and she always has something cheeky to say, I know she’s got my back. She just has her own chaotic way of showing it.

We’re all in different stages of life — Qaqa still in school, Insyirah going through her final teenage years, and me… somewhere between deadlines and breakdowns ๐Ÿ˜‚. But at the end of the day, our bond is real. It’s made of annoying jokes, late-night talks, stealing each other’s things without asking, and the kind of laughter that makes your stomach hurt.
