BESTIE SO HARD WE WORKED TOGETHER AFTER SPM ๐ซ๐
๐Some friendships are strong but ours was so strong that we ended up doing a part time job together right after SPM. Instead of just hanging out or relaxing after exams we both made the spontaneous decision to work at the same place which was Marry Brown. For two full months we were not just best friends we were teammates in real life. It might sound simple to others but for us it was such a meaningful and unforgettable experience.
๐๐ปEvery day felt like a mini adventure. We wore the same uniforms clocked in together and learned everything from scratch side by side from taking orders to handling the peak hour rush. We would quietly help each other when one of us got stuck sneak in quick jokes in between tasks and cheer each other on whenever the day felt a little too long. Even on days when we were both tired and worn out the fact that we were doing it together made everything feel lighter. We were in it together every single shift.
๐ฆBut the best part was not just working at the same place. It was the people we met along the way. We got to know new friends together people we would have never met if we had not taken that part time job. It was fun because we were learning to step into the real world while still holding onto the comfort of being around each other. We built memories not only with each other but also with new people new routines and new laughs.
๐It was more than just a job. It was a chapter in our friendship that felt so raw and real something we will talk about even when we are older. Before going off to university and starting new journeys we got to spend that special time together working side by side and growing through something new. It made us stronger closer and even more grateful for the bond we share.
๐Looking back now those two months at Marry Brown may have been short but they will always hold a special place in our hearts. Because sometimes the most ordinary things like a part time job become extraordinary when you do it with your best friend.
